    what paint and calk will do to a dining room. I'd probably been better off panelling over these old sheetrock walls, but, what the hey, it's starting to look ok, for a 1938 house.

    i always forget how much paint changes a room. it's been about 2-3 years since we painted any room in our house. i'd like to repaint the main rooms, but gina just wants to recoat them.

    What's the dif between painting and recoating, changing colors?

    That could be an answer. But you cna also "recoat" without changing the color. got it?
