So, was last night's episode the last?

Series is done. One of the best series I've seen in a while. I kinda wish they do one on some other less known presidents as well.

well, if they died, that's a pretty good assumption.

But yeah I wish this was coming back. On the upside, the McCulloch miniseries for 1776 is due in 2009.

ya know, i kinda liked it but i found myself annoyed that they "skipped" the good stuff to focus on john adams. yes, it's called "john adams" so it should follow him, but still, compared to the rest of the stuff going on at the time, john adams was not so interesting.

now a miniseries of the totality of the events of our revolution would be amazing.

Disagree, and yeah, it's John Adams so it's going to be on him. He was out of country for many of the important events, he was not a soldier or a general so he wasn't in on the war.

Think of it from the perspective of a book, and the subject thing might be clearer.

Guess you didn't check the date of that post.

Anyway, great miniseries. Maybe they'll do one on Ol' Hickory some day.

i dunno. it felt like the kind of story for people who've already gone over the other stuff backwards and forwards. like rare beatles b-sides of paul and john covering kinks tunes. great if you've heard everything from them already and can't get enough, but not what you'd start off listening too if you were just discovering the beatles. that's how i felt watching john adams....
