Worked. Ok, so I created a solid level 1 center. No contract offers....ummm....if there are directions, I cant see them. What do I do now, wait for a contract offer that might not come? THat it?

Holy shit, I hope not....if so, this is awful. Theres gotta be something Im totally missing here.....

Purrsy, you gotta get out there and mingle on the forums -- look for teams looking for a center, try to advertise yourself, etc.

The game's only like a month old and it's a little more popular than they expected (they expected a couple thousand signups, they ended up with 45k+)

When there are CPU run teams, you get automagic contract offers when you create.

Unfortunately all of the teams have been purchased by humans, so there's no automagic offers. But yeah, post in the forums.

They are adding more teams soon, so hopefully this won't be a problem going forward.

 

Cool. I'll try it out then. Until now, it just seems like an act of futility for lazy bastards like me.

 

I created a player, but have yet to get any offers from CPU teams. But from reading the FAQ, this seems remotely similar to the Soccer Management simulation, Hattrick which has been around for a number of years

 

I created a "Freeney-esque" DE pass rushing specialist. I advertised my player in the forums under "Players looking for teams" and had three contract offers within 20 minutes.

In my first game, I came off the bench and registered one tackle and one QB hurry in 20 snaps.

Our team lost, but we still managed to lock down a playoff spot with our 9-4 record.

The coach has asked me to work on my stamina during my training sessions so that I will have enough in the tank to be on the field for more snaps. He is eager to give me as much playing time as I can handle.

Definitely a cool concept!

 

I've removed the link in the original post. Reason being, I'm only receiving 10 flex points per referal and I thought another player who's as active in this game could use the points.

Flex points are the basic currency of Goal Line Blitz. They allow you to create players, buy teams, create custom equipment, and gain an edge over your opponents.

I've already bought custom equipment for my players (Steroids for my OG and a Chainsaw for my MLB) and don't forsee another need for more points this season.
