    Trying to decide between Wachovia and Citi. Citi has had the SHIT kicked out of it...Wachovia has as well, but not like Citi. Wachovia's dividend is sick and it APPEARS it's going to stick...that's about 10% per year right there.

    THoughts?

    I like playing asset allocation. I do like the financials long over the medium/long term from here. Lehman's earnings and the fed allowing ibanks/brokers to draw directly from the discount window is big news. I don't have a fave bwt C and WB, financial institutions financial statements are tough analysis.

    I'm currently long uyg and itb (home builder index).

    For a longshot: I'm also long siri until the end of the month. It's essentially like buying a call at these levels. I've read very weak rumors that the ruling from the FCC (and Justice Dept) is coming soon. Also, there is an unusual amount of open call interest in the March contracts. The open interest falls greatly in April.
