dukesucks you are an idiot.I dont think anyone from fsu hurt lawson on purpose.it happened and i was kidding with the duke fans on here.Carolina had chances when duke hit a cold strech and didnt take advantage of it.Plus u cannot miss free throws the way they did and win games at any level.i think carolina will win the rematch but it aint gonna be by 20.

 

i think that as always they are pretty well matched up. dook is limited by their interior, carolina by their defense. a healthy lawson and better shooting by ellington goes a long way. again, singlar is the real deal.

 

Then what you do you call a play.When a player get hurt after the play is over .Do you call it a nice clean play.Or do you call it what it is a dirty play .Anyway Say it what you want to say Carolina is still the better team then duke

Forget Lawson for a sec.Do you honestly believe that we would have lost the game had ellington and Green had there normal kind of game?

 

I knew it would be tough without Lawson but I never expected Ellington to forget how to shoot or Danny Green to play like he was sleep walking.

Thomas made some bad turnovers but otherwise he played as well as anyone could hope for. Thompson picking up those two stupid fouls to start the second half sure didn't help. Hansbrough was the man again and Ginyard played great too but that was about it

Paulus shot lights out - Singler played great and lance Thomas probably played his best game since he came to dook. dook rebounded great in the second half. They had a bad stretch ( Paulus with stupid passes, Taylor King jacking up stupid shots) but UNC couldn't hit a damn shot to take advantage.

Look forward to the re-match in derm ( and probably in the ACC finals) with both teams at full strength.

UNC is a different team without Lawson - that was plain to see. And I hope I never see Graves, Stephenson and Thomas on the floor at the same time unless it's on the right end of a 30 point blow out.

it was a good game from both teams. duke's three ball and unc's lack of made threes was really the difference imo. i am still pround of the heels because they fought hard even though no lawson and ellington and green had an off shooting night. tarheels need to get better on defense on the perimeter if they want to beat teams with sharpshooters like duke has. some of those threes were amazing shots. i think the rematch will be a closer game if all is healthy.
