What could we get for Peppers if we trade him?

His value took a hit this year but he should still be worth something. Saint Louis seems to love our players. I wonder if we could get their first round pick for him? Maybe we could get something for Jenkins? I am thinking a third rounder might be about right.

I don't think it matters what we could get for him. It wouldn't be enough. Sure he has had a rough year but we all know that Peppers is much more than what he showed us this year. I think he is more valuable to us on the team than as a trade.

He is more valuable to us, than what we could get for him right now, because we know what he has done for us in the past. Just like selling your favorite car, its precious to you,,, but based on this season's performance, his value clearly went down.

I don't know what happened to Peppers this year,,, whether it was injury or just a suckass year,,, but I don't buy into the BS excuses that Fox gave us about "him being fine" and the numbers "just weren't there". There was definitely something wrong,,,,,,,, hopefully he will get whatever was wrong,,,,,,, fixed. And I certainly wish him the best.

I definitely say we keep him,,,,, but based on his performance this year, we'd be fools to pay him the moon right now.

That is the very question we must answer though. His cap hit for next year is $14 million. Do we take that hit, resign him to a big deal with a lower first year hit, or trade him?

Push come to shove right now,,,,,,,, the way this league is "what have you done for me lately?",,,,,,,, before I tie this team down for that kind of money,,,,,,,,, he's gotta go.

    Sorry Pep. Its business.

If we give him a deal that tops the one Freeny got and he plays like he did this year for the rest of his career then we will probably be out of contention for a long time. We had an albatross like that with Sean Gilbert........

Yep,,,, and btw, I say let him go before giving him the big money, because even after his suckass year, based on his past and potential, right now we could still get good value,,, maybe 2-3 good values for him.

Another suckass year, we may be stuck.

The skins would not fear his contract demands. How about Peppers for Santana Moss and the skins first round pick?

I think we could get a bonafide player like Moss and a top draft pick for Peppers,,,,,,,,,,, now,,,,,,,,,,,,, but not if he has another suckass year.
