couldn't hurt to bring him in, he knows the O, not like he's guaranteed a spot, has some talent, they know what to expect.

If not, we won't be missing much, but an experienced body's never bad.

He would just take up time better used by players with some possibility.

Outside of Harris who do we have at safety that has more upside?

    no thanks

Other than help on special teams, I don't see the purpose. He's not a very good DB.

honestly, taking him off CB and mving him to safety would lighten some of the responsibility of a DB, don't ya think? I think CB is a bit more complex (in terms of position), whereas safety gives the player (with some athleticism) the chance to fly around and be more support.

I wouldn't mind it at all.

    Am I way off here?

CB is easier in base responsibility and harder in instinct and reaction. Safety has a little more space in front of him and time to react in theory. Of course, deep, you still have to be able to cover a guy at safety, and at corner you still have to play a lot of zone.

Wilson, we know Wesley is nothing more than a special teams guy

we've never tried Wesley at S, but if the team doesn't believe he can swing it, we don't owe him to try it.

Wilson could be solid. I still think he's a better corner, though.
Salley and Cooper have some upside, though. Salley's is hard to figure, since he hasn't shown anything, and since Harris is a SS; Cooper's is hard to get a hold on, since he was good enough to start and bad enough to not be in the league all in one breath.

Wesley was a decent Special Teamer wasn't he?

With the loss of Melton, I'd think we would need someone to fill that spot.
