    He not only invented a new type of offense that was wildly successful and copied over and over but he affect almost every offense in the league because they all took pieces of what he was doing. Without what he did in the early eighties NFL offense would look at lot different. Just think of the coaching tree he left behind: Seifert, Shanny, Holmgren, Reid and Gruden spring to mind right off.
