Ax VP, I'm pretty sure he runs a lot. Sly used to when he was less of a fatass.

i used to run before it caused my pinched nerve. 3 miles, 3 times a week. it got to where i felt like i had to do it. i loved the way it made me feel. it can be addictive i guess. i ran off and on for nearly 25 years.

feel the flow.....shut the hell up VI

Run what you are able. Give yourself a fairly difficult goal and wor your way up to it. Try setting it at 5 miles for starters. Run a mile at first and increase your distance every week, giving your self 3-4 days off at the end of every other week. Your body builds muscle while it is resting not while it is working. Try having a scoop of protein powder (http://www.jigsawhealth.com/products/whey-protein-powder.html) before your run and another after you are done. This will give your body and muscles something good to feed on while you are vegging on the couch after your run.
