That's a given. My expectations there are quite high, so I'll be pissed if we continue to be an average-subpar rushing team.

Of course, Jacksonville had no problem running the ball and finished 8-8. You still need balance. Hopefully, Jarrett will prove that he's ready enough to make some immediate impact. Not expecting him to make the pro bowl, but he can give us 50-something catches if he puts his mind to it.

Didn't we take care of our share of that last year? Just asking.

without, at this point, any real benefit. Kemoeatu and Hartwig should be starters, but we did draft Kalil so hartwig won't necessarily be handling the role we hired him for anyway. Both of the two could be gone by next year, with other options available.

If next year's round of FA contracts follow this year's rate of inflation those deals won't look so awful.

I dont think it was a matter of CANT more than didnt want to. Its not like we don't or didn't have the cap space to sign either or both.

We brought Jolley in, i guess his interview didnt impress. Hamlin we never even apparently looked at. He signed for Dallas for only about 2 mill. While i loved him prior to him getting whacked by a lead pipe, Seattle let him walk last year, replacing him with Grant, whom Jax let walk after we let walk before that. Apparently at his New Orleans interview he hit on another players wife and that didnt sit too well wit the players. Id imagine Lucas had some character input with him too.
