read solartes post about the draft lottery, no guarantee.

if they tanked the season everybody would be on them for not trying, more bob johnson bashing, "F" the NBA, blah blah...

Unfortunately May is turning out to be the Bobcats version of Dan Morgan.

There is no guarantee, true, but late wins cost us draft position two years ago when we got Felton. Without those wins that last week of the season, even though we got screwed by the lottery, we would have drafted 4th and gotten Paul.

Considering the two once in a decade type players in the draft this year, it's essential not to lose a ping pong ball in my opinion. Yes, there are no guarantees.

I think when Felton and Pauls careers are over, their contributions and numbers will be very similiar

I agree...the only difference between the 2 was that Paul got right into the mix in NO while Felton was brought along slowly during his rookie year--in the end, they are a virtual wash (as in both are good, and Blueblood is right).

That's fair, we still cost ourselves a draft spot. Some day Brandan Wright may be better than Greg Oden but if we draft third it's still gonna hurt.

For the record, dispite not making as much progress as I'd hoped this year, Felton has really finished strong since Knight went down mid-season.

This team needs to work on free throws. If we can increase our percentage into the mid to high 70s thats about another 10 wins or so easy!

I wouldn't be shocked if Felton has the better career.
