    I saw where Eddie Van Halen is in rehab and apparently the "reunion" tour with DLR is not going to happen any time soon. I also see where Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony are the only ones scheduled to show up for the R&R Hall of Fame induction. Is Eddie just a washed up, burned out jerk who is just going to fade away?

    They need to do at least one tour with DLR and Michael Anthony before one of them dies of old age. Heck they might as well bring Sammy too. He could sing on his era stuff and DLR could sing his stuff and then maybe do a couple of numbers together.

    After considering your brilliantly researched and well phrased thoughts, I've reconsidered my position. I agree. I am the jerk.

    Now if you'll excuse me, I must go alienate former friends, fire old bandmates, go into rehab a couple of times, disappoint fans, and be generally insignificant for a decade or so because I can't get my head out of my a$$.

    Eddie is definitely a burned out jerk who's squandered a great band .. He can't have too long to live .. I mean he does have cancer . and looks 50 going on 80.. it'd be nice to see a reunion with DLR just because .. well obvious reasons.. they made some great music and have sucked since DLR left.. i saw them in '84 on their last tour together ( in dayton ohio ).. .. na na na na na na
