ASU Mountaineers Open 2007 Season At Michigan's "Big House"

    The 2007 edition of the Appalachian State Mountaineers will begin in Ann Arbor Michigan versus the Michigan Wolverines in the "Big House". ASU will be the first Div 1AA team that Michigan has ever faced in the history of that program. The previous scheduled opener in Baton Rogue against LSU was moved to 2009. Good luck to Coach Moore and the Mountaineers as they begin defense of back to back National Championships. Is a 3Peat possible?

    • Appalachian has future games scheduled versus FBS opponents LSU (2009 — previously scheduled for 2007), Florida (2010), Virginia Tech (2011) and Georgia (2013 — previously scheduled for 2009).

    I'm not so sure that they start the season facing these teams to be brave....they get a big paycheck from those teams for filling their schedule
