He shot 37%. Fair but he was shooting from 25 feet.

That was his choice, and Bobby's. What was his excuse from 15 feet at the FT line with nobody in his face?

    He single handedly won games.

He was unconcious TWO games. Should I go back and list all the game she shot us out of? The list is long and distinguished.

Who told you that he divided the team? Mitch?

Absolutely not. As I said earlier, Mitch never pointed fingers or talked shit about any player to me. He is a classy guy.

Plavichs ridiculous shot selection and the way Bobby handled his shot selection wore thin with a couple starters in the second half of that season. I heard some of it first hand and a couple stories seconf hand that were later confirmed. This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

A guy who beat Indiana and Syracuse.

Again 2 of what, almost 60 games he played. I remember him gagging away several games at the FT line late in games, most noteably, Alabama, where Lutz ran an inbounds play to purposefully put him at the line to ice the game. He missed both and we lost. At the time, Plavich was statistically the worst FT shooter on the team at 35%.

Not to mention the number of games he shot us out of wth his endless list of infamous 2-13 shooting nights.

BTW, in case you missed it, he didn't win the Indiana game, the shot shouldn't have counted and was clearly after time expired. IU has counted it as a win in their records.

So who told you I was a pain in the butt. I want details. Don't give me your whole "I don't tell my sources" speech, because when you call into question my character I have issues.

I wondered why you got banned from the other board. Now I remember. Because you can't be civilized

I don't have to tell you shit...but I don't know why you're surprised. You have been annoying people on NNN on CUSA for years.

And don't preach to me about "questioning your character" then insult me and question mine in the very next sentence. It makes you a hypocrite. Did they teach you that at ministry?

Hide behind your handle PI. I wondered why you got banned from the other board

When have I ever hid behind my handle? And I'm active on the other board.

And I'm still waiing for you to anwer this question for me:

His senior year he shot .379 from the field and .618 from the free throw line with an assist/To ratio of about 1:1 and couldn't guard a lawn jockey. I'de like to know what he did well besides divide a team??

I guess we must have heard conflicting reports. Because nobody I know had a problem with Brendan. Besides to say the Brendan went unconcious only 2x is BS

Here is a list of some of the games where he single handedly carried this team or at least contributed majorily.

    Syracuse
    @Davidson
    Cincinatti (dropped 26)
Indiana (We won in the books thats what matter; I could care less what you or Mike Davis thinks about the shot)

Not to mention the only reason why we were winning the 1st half of the NC State game was b/c of Brendan. He kept us in the Louisville game with 28. He put in 17 in a win over Cincy in 03, Hit the game winner against ODU in 2OT.

The guy made big plays in big games. Unfortunately Mitch only had 1 great game when it mattered, Louisville in 03 replacing Demon Brown. I really wish that Mitch could have been a great player here. He was a nice person, very respectful and it sucks that he had to deal with shoulder problems.

However you attacking Plavich is uncalled for. In his 2 years here we won 20 games both times and went to the NCAA both times. He gave us a weapon that created space. Most people credit Eddie and Curt for the success and granted they were a big part of it. However the year before Plavich was here, we won only 13 games, the year after only 18. Neither year we made the tournament. Brendan deserves a ton of credit because he freed up space that Eddie and Curt used to put up great numbers.

I apologize for attacking your character, but you took a cheap shot at me and it's not the first time. If you have issues with the way I post, fine. Ignore me. However don't just type stuff and say 'from what I understand' or 'my sources' or 'I've heard.' If you have specifics put them out their so that I can tell my side of the story. Don't just make a blunt accusation and leave me with no opportunity to defend myself.

We won in the books thats what matter; I could care less what you or Mike Davis thinks about the shot

It's not a matter of what I or Davis thinks, it was just a fact. The television clock was wrong and the arena clock and official time showed that time expired as he caught the ball. Period.

Most people credit Eddie and Curt for the success and granted they were a big part of it.

Most people are right. They carried us. We would have been just as good without Plavich. Didn't one of our best road wins of his career come with him sitting out. At Valpo I think.

I really wish that Mitch could have been a great player here. He was a nice person

    He still is.

However you attacking Plavich is uncalled for.

Not attacting. Just pointing out stats and stating facts. His career numbers suck, he couldn't guard anyone.

Still waiting for the answer to this...for the third time:

His senior year he shot .379 from the field and .618 from the free throw line with an assist/TO ratio of about 1:1 and couldn't guard a lawn jockey. I'de like to know what he did well besides divide a team??

He hit big shots in big games. Thats one thing he did well.

Well NNN is back so we'll just agree to disagree on Plavich. I thought he was a good player, apparently you think he sucks and ruined this team.

As expected, UNCC is getting drilled.

I hope Judy Rose and Bobby Lutz elope tonight and fax their resignations in on Monday morning.

I would like to personally thank them both for driving a once on-the-rise program into the ground. We are back to 1990 in the sunbelt conference.
