Mitch should be thankful that coach handcuffed him. He couldn't dribble or shoot.

You must have him confused with Plavich.

Mitch's problem was he didn't care about winning and losing. After key losses I have been told he was a the guy that was all smiles in the locker room.

He is probably in the top 5 in pure athletic ability to ever play at Charlotte, but he was soft and non-competitive.

That is dead on acurate about Mitch. Tons of athleticism, but his heart wasnt in it.

Btw Pi, Carlos is averaging 2 steals per game. I still have faith that his apg will go up considerably this year.

My bad. Unfortunately that is not world beating either and if it is the best response in his defense then he is in trouble.

That's not accurate. I still talk to Mitch a bit and I think he is just misunderstood. He's kind of a quirky guy but to say he wasn't competetive or didn't care isn't fair. The guy gave everything on the court and put it behind him off. Just because most guys can't do that doesn't make it wrong.

He was always pretty hard on himself after games and never pointed fingers, which is more than I can say for the rest of that team.

Are you serious? You think Mitch could out shoot Plavich?

Plavich could have a broken arm, torn ligaments in both knees and be an amputee and still beat Mitch in HORSE.

This is from someone who watched the 2 in practice every day for nearly 2 years. Plavich was 2x the player Mitch was.

I'll vouch for Mitch being a professional. I will say that he didn't take losing as hard as some, but that was his personality. It has it's blessings and curses.

He put in his time in the weight room and he worked on some aspects of his games. Plus he was a good quality person. I'd rather have a guy like Mitch here for 4 years than bring in clowns that can play but that don't go to class, hit their girlfriends, treat everyone like crap.

I was saying that Plavich couldn't dribble or shoot. Guys like you just thought he could shoot. Nobody thought he could dribble.

His senior year he shot .379 from the field and .618 from the free throw line with an assist/To ratio of about 1:1 and couldn't guard a lawn jockey. I'de like to know what he did well besides divide a team.

    Yeah, he was a player.:umno:

Unfortunately, Horse has nothing to do with being a basketball player but just for arguments sake, Mitch was a much better FT shooter at about 75%.

This is from someone who watched the 2 in practice every day for nearly 2 years. Plavich was 2x the player Mitch was

Please don't start with this routine again. We all know you were a towel boy and, from what I understand, a pain in the ass towel boy. It doesn't qualify you as anything.

He shot 37%. Fair but he was shooting from 25 feet. He single handedly won games.

He divided the team. I recall his senior year the team won over 20 games, was ranked and went to the NCAA tournament. Who told you that he divided the team? Mitch?

Mitch was a better free throw shooter? Fair enough. I tell you what, go ask Bobby who he'd rather have on his team. A 75% FT Shooter or a guy who can shoot 35% from 25 foot. A guy who beat Indiana and Syracuse.

From what you understand? What do you understand? Care to share your sources? Because I still regularly speak with Coach Lutz on a first name basis. Not a single coach had a problem with me. I left the team to pursue a career in full time volunteer ministry. So who told you I was a pain in the butt. I want details. Don't give me your whole "I don't tell my sources" speech, because when you call into question my character I have issues.

Hide behind your handle PI. I wondered why you got banned from the other board. Now I remember. Because you can't be civilized.
