    Tackling was pathetic yesterday. These fuckers need to wrap up, especially our damn DBs.

    Who whiffed on that Jenkins TD, Gamble? Awful. The Falcons had 252 yards rushing. That's just inexcusable, especially for a defense with so much supposed talent. I heard they had 11 runs of 10+ yards. Unacceptable.

    Lot of whiffs are because the player is out of position, and is reaching back, or whatever. Most evidence of overpursuit.

    was T Davis supposed to hold contain on that play that jenkins touchdown? or whatever the fuck you call it. seems like he stepped up even though rucker had it under control leaving jenkins open.

    Don't know if you were being sarcastic, but the general consensus is that we run the hardest camp with the most hitting in the league. Whatever the cause, we haven't been a good tackling team since Capers.

    I think Davis made the right decision on that play. Rucker was just caught in no-man's land and TD couldn't have gotten over to Jenkins anyway. Lucas should have made the tackle or at least knocked him out of bounds, though.

    We do run more full contact that most other teams, so I seriously doubt that. Thing is, even a guy like Lucas, who is usually sound in that area, whiffed on a few. We just had a terrible day in that area, for whatever reason. It looked like the first half of 2004.
