Pretty much. I'll be alot happier with it once Bush is on it. I think he will be before the year's out, assuming someone else doesn't swipe him.

But yes, I think its a fine roster.

I'm unhappy with a few of the decisions. Cramer made more sense than King, though if that slot is inactive it may as well be King so he can be on the roster next year.
We don't need a 7th LB. We haven't carried one all this time, morgan hurt or not, and I didn't feel we needed one. I advocated Adams being cut mostly for this reason - and because the top 6 all deserved to play. It wasn't that Adams was bad.
However, Ciurciu was legitimately bad. Haye had more future here than him, though with 6 DT it's hard to say that we would've kept 5 ends, of course. Bush, inactive or not, wouldn't have been bad on-roster. Now we've gotta deactivate someone else (Seward? Anderson?) who's played well and earned a job, so we can let Ciurciu run around on ST.

In general, it's a fine roster. Don't know that I agree with 2 QBs, 4 TEs, 10 DL, or 7 LB, no.

Just like most things in life, I didn't get everything I wanted but it turned out ok for the most part. I thought Adams could have helped this season, but he had no long-term future here. Meanwhile I'm very happy that McClover made it because I think he can continue to develop and potentially be a starter around the time that Rucker is ready to hang 'em up. McCadam over Salley puzzles me, but I don't really care that much.

Now I just wish the NFL would finally have the balls to allow more than 45 to be active on gameday.

hmm I looked over at KFFL and there have been no pickups of players. So am I to assume that no team has made a claim, yet, on any players and we can sign some of our guys back to the PS here in 1 hour and 20 minutes?

waivers take time, paul. I think it's 48 hours. If guys were already past waivers, they could be signed. if they had 5 years experience, they wouldn't need to clear waivers, but of course they'd be ineligible.

Hangartner will probably be active over Montgomery because he can play guard also, otherwise I think you're spot on

I am honestly puzzled that Bush did not make the active squad. Also that Salley lost out. But the move that bewilders me the most is our dropping Haynes after all of the praise and bragging that John and Dan had done. I was actually fairly impressed with his performances in the practices I was able to attend. He is much more a Henning-style back than either Foster or Williams (though, I really like Williams, do not get me wrong; I think that five years down the road he and Maroney will be hailed as the two best RBs from this year's draft). It just seems to be a very strange counter-philosophy decision to me.

Well, for one, Fordam can and has played guard. And Montgomery played a fair amount of guard last game.

Waivers take 24 hours. The claims will be awarded at 4 today, and then they can sign the PSs. All the claims are awarded at 4, so if more than one team claims a guy, the team with the highest priorty gets him. Its not 1st come 1st served.
