Here's some teams I think could do far better than their pre-season predictions:

    Eagles
    Saints
    Packers
    Fins

Not by me, except in my surprise team thread.

That's a weak ass division. I guess they're predicted to be better than the Bills and Jets.

We play them on national TV.....and isn't the 3rd preseason game the one where the starters play the longest?

    My list:
    Cardinals
Ravens (though I'm not sure they'd for sure even make the playoffs but I expect them to be significantly better)
    Lions (See Ravens)

I don't think it would be much of a surprise to most if Miami had a good year.

Ravens and Jets in the AFC (Bills could be .500 and improved but no playoffs yet)

Rams and Packers in the NFC (Eagles should be above .500 but IMO they will fold down the stretch and just miss)

Every team in the NFC East and NFC South could be worthy of the playoffs this year (including the saints). The two best divisions this year, no question

Surprise teams could be surprisingly good or bad.

A lot of people are jumping on the bandwagons or calling attention to teams to do better for certain reasons.

    Cards-Edge, new stadium, carma?

Dolphins-great finish to the year last year and second year of the new regime.

Browns-Second year, surprised some teams last year.

Phili,Giants,Washington,Dallas-it seems the whole division is good top to bottom, same with the AFC division featuring the Brown,Bengals, Ravens & Steelers

I think the Bills will be surprisingly average.
I like the Jets to be pretty bad.
The Dolphins wont surprise me if they challenge the Pats, but it would surprise me if the won the division.

If the Eagles don't finish last in that division I'll be surprised.

I'll be surprised if the Jets, Saints, Raiders and the Niners can get out of the celler.

In fact, I'll be surprised if the Jets, Raiders, Saints and Niners don't qualify for 4 of the top 8 pick's in the next NFL draft.

I'd expect, since those two are both coming off coaching changes and neither have a remarkably settled QB situation.

yep, that's the stretch game for the 1st string.
