The steelers won despite Ben, not because of him. He had the lowest QB rating in the history of the superbowl.

If their offensive line and entire defense start riding around without helmets, then steeler fans should worry.

Um isn't that because the alternatives were Tommy Maddox and Charlie Batch? Face it he's average... Like I said a John Kitna or even a current Kurt Warner could get it done in Pitt. and you've yet to provide me with a legitimate argument as to why I'm wrong. If Ben would be playing for Cleveland, Steelers fans would call him a joke.

What's that award they give to players coming back from injury/illness? If they give that to Ben, it would make a complete mockery of the award. Don't reward someone for being stupid no matter who was at fault.

First of all, Steelernation knows everything from Cleveland is a joke.

Second, you cannot call the quarterback with the second highest passer rating in the AFC, Ben Roethlisberger, average.

Third, he wins close games on the last drive or in the late 4th quarter when his number is called (Please don't tell me that Warner or Kitna could do this at this point in their careers):

    1. at Miami (during a hurricane) 2004
    2. at Dallas 2004
    3. at Jacksonville 2004
    4. vs. Baltimore on MNF 2005

Fourth, the 2005-2006 playoff run was facilitated by Ben Roethlisberger throwing the football and converting key third downs (examples: completing every third down and 7 plus yards at Denver, and 3rd and 28 in Super Bowl XL to Hines Ward on the 2 yard line). The running game was dead throughout the entire playoffs except for Willie Parker in the Super Bowl.
