Most of the "experts" were split or slightly favored the Canes before the series started. Edmonton's main advantage was Roleson (sp) Now that he is gone on a scale of 1-10, with as little homer bias as you can muster, what were the chances of a Canes series win preinjury and what is it now.

pre-series I was a 7 for the Canes to win this thing, but after game 1 Z(injury included), they are now a 7.5 IMO.

Edmonton played FAR BETTER than I expected them to. Scariest thing about the Oilers now, is that they may feel like they have to rally around Markenen or Conklin (since neither played much after Roloson was acquired). A desperate team with a green goaltender makes them an animal backed into a corner....

I still like Carolina's chances, but by no means is this a walk.

Brindy is on a mission and Wesley does NOT want to lose to Edmonton AGAIN.
