    :thud: (20,024 x 3) / (17 x 60) = 59 seats per second.

I hope you're joking. season ticket holders got theirs before the playoffs started. the ones that sold this week were pretty much all scattered singles.

(also, there's more than one ticket booth)

don't take my word for it, though

well, the 20,024 was the last Buf v Ott game and it was 108% capacity, but you get my drift. That's one hell of a lot of tix going out the door damn fast.

ok if it were 100% capacity, 18,690 you get 55 seats per sec. My bad, off by 4 seats.

are you serious clark? the article I posted clearly states that the tix that went on sale wednesday and sold out in 17 minutes numbered only 2,000 per game. That means 6,000 were sold in 17 mintes. using your formula, it comes out to about six tickets per second.

No I was just being a wiseass and going by total seating capacity of HSBC. Still, I wonder how many red seats are going to pose as canes fans? It looked like they were packed from the NJ series, but how many of those were filled by Devils fans...

I'd bet almost all the seats at HSBC will be sabres fans. don't know what it'll be like in Raleigh. They're probably pretty safe, what with the "no sell to outsiders policy" that was implemented.

I went to a Canes-Sabres game a few years ago and there was a fan holding a sign that said "NO GOAL".

As for the radio thing, on XM yesterday they played battle of the banjos while playing clips of Chuck Kaiton and Jeannerent
