That doesn't make any sense, Tripp said it wasn't a penalty. I don't think we have much of a choice, we pretty much have to take Tripp's word over the ref's considering he practices with the Hurricanes from time to time. They should fire that ref, he doesn't know what he is talking about. This is why the NHL will always be 2nd rate.

Did you hear Tripp after Koivu got the high stick? He kept saying, even while watching the replay, that it shouldn't be a penalty because Koivu was bent over. LMAO. He was bent over because he was collapsing to the ice b/c he just got a fucking stick in the eye. Even after the replays he doesn't give an honest assesment of the play. No shame. Trojan, you shouldn't defend him, he's a big part of the reason you are a hockey idiot.
