I've heard that the Lions are keyed in on him at number 9 and there is no way we could get up near that but I've heard rumors about other teams wanted to trade up into Detroits spot for other players.

Do you think it's remotely possible that Huff could drop to say 13 where we could trade up with the ravens to nab him.

    Stranger things have happened.

Not THAT strange . . . It would take WAY too much for us to move up to 9 and the Ravens would do backflips to have Huff and Reed at safety. If he was available they wouldn't trade away the chance to have Huff

Its possible Huff doesn't get by Buffalo. While I expect them to take a DT, using Huff at CB there isn't out of the question.

Raiders are considering Huff, so he may not make it past #7.

They should consider him. They haven't had a decent free safety since Eric Turner died.

Huff is someone they'll consider depending on who is taken in the top 6 spots. I have a feeling that it there is a QB left, we may consider taking the QB over Huff. But what do I know??? LOL Things could turn out VERY different come draft day!

If Cutler is left by 20 or so we should trade up and take him. He is easily the best QB in the draft and would likely be an upgrade over Jake in a year or so. Leinart is has touch and great decision making, but is no Carson palmer as his arm strength is lacking and his accuracy falls off greatly after about 15 yards. Young is a poor man's Vick and will likely be a bust. I can't remember who, but an ex NFL qb said on ESPN radio that he isn't worth a 1st DAY pick as a QB. Amazing athlete, but tremendous learning curve to become a NFL QB from what essentially amounted to a 1 read system. With either of the 2 you are limited to what you can do. Cutler has the strength and the intangibles. Plus he basicly had to will his mediocre team to win.

I wouldn't mind a top RB, a pass catching TE or some OL help in the draft, but all those areas have plenty of depth this year. Someone is getting a franchise QB with Cutler and I would like it to be us. Jake is a solid QB, but the stupid interceptions and the constant fumbling drive me nuts. Maybe next year he will be able to get the ball out quicker with more options, but Cutler looks mighty tempting.

When I stated "we" in my post, I meant the Raiders. Can get confusing since I root for the Raiders and Panthers.
