He's not always had both titles. He did when promoted, and did here. That's about it.
    NFL.com has that, too.
Doesn't make it correct, though. QBs coach is a direct role and so is OC. Weis was one of Parcells' right hand men in NE, that was Henning's first and only contact with Parcells. Which is why I can't credit Henning for an offense Parcells ran for, well, his career.

He held both in Buffalo and I'm pretty sure he did in Washington. Joe Theisman has referred to him as his QB coach. Even without the title, I'm sure he keeps a finger in that pot since that's his background.

He works for ESPN and I believe he used to work for the Cleveland Browns. That was part of a chat he had regarding the draft etc.

Henning was OC in Washington, then left, and failed, and came back, and was QBs coach. I believe Joe Pendry was the OC when Henning left, and he'd stayed when Henning came back. I don't believe he was QBs coach in Buffalo, but I couldn't find who was in the one year he was OC.

Henning is the best offensive cord we've had.

I'm pretty sure Pendy left after the Skins won the Super Bowl in 87, and Henning got the OC job over Holmgren. That's memory from somwhere I read.

but the important thing is that Henning was Key's OC with the Jets..........

I thought we had determined that he was not? Henning got promoted to the OC position in Feb 2000. He was QB coach before that. Key played the 2000 season with the Bucs.

Holmgren was never with the Redskins. And Henning wasn't Key's OC. :229031_ha
