    John Clayton is saying that Jamal Lewis is a possibility for Carolina.If we aren't scared off by his criminal past,then he is the ideal back for Fox's system.It would also allow Foster to walk,and Lewis probably wouldn't make much more than Foster.I like the transition tag because unlike the franchise...it doesn't obligate us to sign him I don't believe.We can match if we decide not to pursue another FA.

    Lewis is a guy you sign late after the market settles and it is more clear what he is worth.

    Depends on Lewis. If we're paying him to be situational, which he wouldn't likely accept, he'd be perfect as a 15 carry back.
