DING DING DING! We have a winner! :trophy:

Foster is, IMHO, a west coast offense back. He's not a full-time power runner like Davis was. Skipper & Co. have tried to turn him into one, but I believe that he's a receiver/slasher, and nothing the coaching staff does is going to change that. He's not a 30 to 35 carry per game back. The only way he's really worked in this offense is as a change-of-pace or third down back. And looking at the damage he's already sustained, that's probably his best shot at having any kind of longevity at all.

The Panther's try to run a power game. There is a back available that fits that description. He is one of a few backs that simply can wear down a defense...and the man rarely gets hurt; TJ Duckett

    Ding ding ding.

Both are nice players. Foster is 220 and can break tackles. He's never had 4.4 speed, ever, just pretty good speed and burst for his size.

Morgan's a nice player, when he's reading his keys we are ok. He'll run around a block more than I like, but so will most eye on the money fast guys. He's just not an impact player that makes the unexpected, eye popping plays. He usually does his job and that's it. And so did Short. And we will need to have a backup like Short if we keep the overpaid one around, which is the bitch of it.

They are both nice to have players. We just don't want to overpay for one like we have for the other.
