I know Walls' knee wasn't greatest, but making him a part-time H-back in this offense would've been brilliant (and would've kept him useful in 2003 instead of being a Packer).

they could have enough drops but not enough passes, though I don't think that's really the case as much. I don't think Seidman's gotten that many plays, much less been thrown at.

not that great in my opinion... LBs on other teams always spyed yound and he would run free.....

I like Mel Kiplers prediction that we take Fasano out of ND...
Big guy... quality blocker, catcher, runnner.... did well in big games for ND...

plus the panthers need someone from Notre dame on the team.. I'm sick of being one of the only teams in the NFL to not have someone from the Irish in uniform...

I really don't figure us going TE 1st round...so I was thinking this guy is more of a reality pick

he'd still be an upgrade...but how much?

Why can't we have a tight end who specializes in blocking and a tight end who specializes in receiving? I know the first thought is that it would give the play away when we brought in a specific tightend but you can disguise that and mix it up. When you went with a two tight end set you could probably sneak the receiver tight end open alot.

I figured you'd take that wrong, so I would expect that. Not what I meant, but sure.
