No one to fire this week!!!! All good in Pantherland.

 

In 2003, I was thrilled with our 11-5 season. In 2004, I was thrilled with 7-9 because of how hard the team fought back from the dozen-plus on IR.

But as good as 11-5 this year is, to be honest, I'm disappointed. I can't help but think this team underachieved in '05. They've been dominant in more than one game this year, and that hasn't happened often in Panthers history. If this team (including the coaching staff) played to their full potential all year, we'd be in Chicago's position right now and looking foward to a week off and hosting some playoff games in Charlotte. As it was, this team was lucky to make it into the playoffs at all. How many brain farts has this team had this year? New Orleans, Miami, Chicago, Tampa, Buffalo (almost)... As good as they've been, I can't help feeling they should've been better. Lets hope they can put 5 games together and win in Detroit.

 

We only lost to good teams this season. There isn't any shame in that, even if we should have done better. Pretty much every team can say that they should have done better.

 

.........and in the History of the Panthers, every time they have made the playoffs they have made the NFC Championship game!!
