my coach would have told him to walk it off.

    j/k.

I was just thinking about all the RBs we've ever drafted in the top 3 rounds, and how they each have had huge questions about them... Biakabutuka, Foster and Shelton; three backs, not one of them had a rookie season worth a shit.

Goings rocks and proved himself last year, DeShaun Foster could only dream of doing as good as Goings did last year.

    That complicates things - Gantt

RB DeShaun Foster returned to practice Thursday, but backup Nick Goings missed practice after he was added to the injury report with an ankle sprain. He's listed as questionable on the updated report.

If he can't play, the Panthers would have Foster and their kick returners, Jamal Robertson and Rod Smart available against the Falcons.

    Foxhole: Injury update

Comments from Carolina Panthers head coach John Fox following the team's practice.

On injuries: We added Nick Goings. He's questionable with an ankle and did not practice. We moved Jeff Mitchell (hip) from probable to questionable. We upgraded Kindal Moorehead (shoulder) and Mike Rucker (ankle) from questionable to probable. Those are the differences from yesterday.

On if he is concerned about having two starting offensive lineman, center Jeff Mitchell and guard Tutan Reyes, on the injury report: That's why you have starters and that's why you have backups. It's all a concern. They're still not definitely out for the game.

Could John Fox be playing games with the injury report? Setting up Atlanta with them not knowing until game time who will be starting?
