That last minute interception to Mia is looking huge

All those turnovers to Chi are looking huge

That disfunctional game with turnovers to NO to open the year looks huge

We take a little better care of the ball and yesterday was meaningless...note to Jake:

TD passes are a good thing only when thrown to YOUR TEAM!

Btw Someone Should ask this.If you can't touched the REF then how come I see Peyton Manning putting his hands on refs all the time - they're buddies. And he NEVER EVER get ejected

I went back and looked at all those plays last night on Tivo. You just can't see everything from where I sit in 508.

1st - The interference call and unnecessary roughness. Close calls both, but unfortunately the right calls.

2nd - Smitty did grab the ref and said something. I think what he said got him tossed via the grabbing the ref rule.

3rd - I looked at the field goal over and over in slo mo and couldn't tell you for shure that either Lucas touched it. Someone posted earlier they couldn't believe that Pep didn't block because his body was in the vertical flight path for a makable kick from that spot. The ball just was kicked off to the right. The trajectory seemed to change from possible contact from Lucas, but the velocity and distance were unchanged, which made the kick look like it wasn't touched. They did run into him. Unfortunate timing in that instead of a tie game into OT they got 1st down and goal and we didn't hold them.

On a side note. Jones' day was mostly all him. He just had the vision to find gaps where we had guys out of position. On the 48 yd TD for instance, the play was supposed to go outside the left tackle and we had it stuffed, so he cut back inside and hit his head on the goalpost. It was hard for me to tell which guys were out of position, but you have to give most of the credit to Jones. He had an incredible day.

I chalk the whole thing up to bad luck. We just got punked by Santa Claus to the benefit of the Cowboys and thier asshole bandwagon fans.

With such a strange season and the wack playoff pairings, it would not surprise me to see a wildcard team make the SB this year. Why not the Panthers. We seem to play better on the road this year anyway.

Cowboys loss disappointing as hell, but not the end of the season. At least we are playing for something.
