I think 3 would've been a better limit. Limiting teams to four does nothing. It eliminates 1 team. That's it. But anyways...

loopholes people...NASCAR is all about beating the "system". Hendrick is already doing it by having Gordon listed as the "owner" of the #48 when really its Hendrick all the way.

What you're referring to is different than this new rule. 48 is still a part of the Hendrick team and will count towards there number of cars.

The closest thing to a loophole that will be done as of now will be next years HOF Racing team, which is so closely tied with JGR that they will almost be considered the same team. Yet they are still seperate enough to be classified as two teams.

Multi car teams are a pain to the smaller owner/drivers, like there are any left. Some of the best drivers in NASCAR history have been single car teams. Windell Scott, the man used to get out of his car to do his own pitstops; Alan Kulwicky, now you know were the Polish Victory lap came from; Ricky Rudd, back in the 80's and early 90's. Don't get me wrong, I love NASCAR, but the good ol days are gone. Especially with NASCAR changing the cars style. We shall see I guess.
