Not what the Panthers defense is saying after the last two games they've played and lost against him. How many picks did he throw? 0

    Jake-2

2 picks in the the saints red zone. And you STILL needed a last second FG to win.

    Your team must really suck.

First, Brooks did not win the games.
Second, I'm not talking about Jake. I'm talking about Brooks. He sucks.

Where does that put the Panthers? Home field advantage 2 games in a row, beat by a team that odds pickers said were the underdog. Peppers playing against a rookie, Jenkins back and healthy, your starting running back in the game, AND all of those wonderful offseason transactions that we didn't get.

If we suck, in your opinion, then you, what? Really REALLY suck?

Actually he was coordinator for five years, although they weren't too good in '96 (in part because of a Robert Smith injury). But in his last season as coordinator ('98), the Vikings set the NFL record for points in a season. As for whether or not he's done anything since then, I actually credit Billick for being flexible. A lot of coaches would force their previous style on their new team, but Billick understood that a defense as good as that is best complemented by an effective running game rather than a prolific passing attack. Since he took over, the Ravens have been an above average rushing team throughout his tenure, while they were a below average rushing team before he arrived.

    Andrew:
The Saints played a near flawless game while the Panthers played fairly badly, and yet New Orleans only won the game with a last second field goal. Congratulations, but shouldn't you be visiting Giants boards by now?

Why can't you just accept the fact that the Saints suck in their own right?
