"Casey Shannon, Fontana's son and vice president of operations for Charis, will be in charge of the station. Programming will originate from Charis' street-front studios at 201 S. College St., adjacent to Fontana's Triune Capital Advisors LLC brokerage.

While programming is still under discussion, it is likely to be some variant of talk-sports-news. It is uncertain whether former Carolina Panthers announcer Bill Rosinski, already syndicated by Charis and carried locally on WFNZ-AM (610), would be heard on the station, Shannon said.

Fontana said he is also talking to the Rev. David Chadwick of Forest Hill Church in Charlotte about doing a show. Chadwick is a regular on WBT-AM (1110)."

Seems like WBT Junior. I hope they have a sports talk radio show to compete with Packer. Is WFNZ still 5K watts? What is WFNA's signal strength?
