Don't bring me into this until you can come up with your own points. Seriously.

actually Collin drug you into it (as was quoted). i was addressing his argument in as serious a fashion as i thought appropriate.

as to me sticking my nose into it, no thanks.

you apologized, i think, for an earlier outburst. so, i was hoping that you could discuss and learn to mind your manners. it's obvious you understand you're being rude and whenso. for the life of me i cannot understand you not even trying to be civil.

I really hate when you act like a scorned dog, HC. You're a good guy, and you generally help enliven talk, even though you're willing to sling insults only part of the time (which I've always enjoyed going back and forth with you) and then decide you don't like it.
At any rate, I hate it when you get bitter and jaded.

anyway, yeah. So why do I feel like Morgan will never be as good as he can be, until he's got two-gappers in front of him?

Hey Mags, following up on a much earlier post of yours about the Panthers writing large checks that we could be paying for later on. Between Rucker, Jenkins, Peppers, Delhomme, etcc..... No way we can keep all of them but what's your best guess who the Panthers won't keep due to age or cost. Peppers and Jake I pray are not going anywhere. This year is key for Jenkins and I can see Rucker not coming back when his contract comes due

I don't think it'll work that way. If, for some reason, Rucker's play drops (IMO he wasn't so bad last year), then we'll deal with that then. He's got two years of ~$3 mil salaries in 06, 07, and we'd as easily just extend him.

His salary is alot more managable. I am looking at Jenkins, Peppers, Jake. Theirs are the ones that scare me

Jake's got a lot of salary, most notably in 2007 (high point in the contract). It'll have been three years, I wouldn't be surprised to see a rework.

His opinions don't bother me in the least. I did get a nice chuckle at the assertion that somehow his opinion and Magnus' opinion carry extra weight. Actually it was more of a rolling on the floor and laughing my ass off, but it was enjoyable.

Spoon will definitely be gone. The Panthers have a history of paying one player at a position a whole lot, and it forces another out (see Moose, and more I can't think of at the moment)
