Gunner Palace DVD

sup guys....Has anyone watched Gunner Palace yet? I just watched it this weekend. It's a documentary about American soldiers in Iraq. It's pretty good...pretty intense. It's kinda like that show on FX called Over There. But Gunner Palace is the real deal. It's not hollywood made. They followed a real platoon of American soldiers as they went into combat and took over Sadam Hussein's palace. Anyway, if anyone's seen it, hit me up...Later bros.

 

i heard about that one. i heard from a very reliable source that the money from the DVD was going to fund al qaeda. you arent into that kinda thing are you?

 

No! I think you must be confusing it with some other documentary about Iraq. I'm pretty sure the money isn't going towards funding al qaeda. I know this because I have a friend who works for Universal. He's the one that recommended the movie to me in the first place. But I think I heard something about a portion of the profits going towards the families of American troops in Iraq. I'm not sure though...It might be just a rumor. Check out the site...It has a shitload of stuff on the movie.
