Liked him as a sleeper a few years ago. Oddly built back at 5'8, 240+, but has decent short range speed. They cut him to make room for that huge kid out of Northern Illinois, Michael Turner.

I guess Davis is more questionable than I thought if we are still looking for a RB.

i read that he was released from the Chargers because he failed his physical...I wonder what his injury was or is? I would imagine he would be thrown into competition with Smart and Robertson for the 3rd string RB (assuming Davis starts out on PUP) and kick returner.

    Good to be back

And how great to see familiar names still here. O.C. (Old Coot) has had a couple of rough years, but is more ready for football this year that any other in a long time. The Superbowl year was close, and showed real Character on the players part, and what great coaches we have in John Fox and group.
If we get the breaks this year (or lack of them I should say - no broken bones -PLEASE) we could have the playoffs at HOME...COME ON PANTHERS Prove this Old Coot named John a great prognosticator....John :ylsuper: :trophy:

    Darin Gantt says it's BS:

From this article: Davis feels comfortable at safety
