AZCardinals.com reports Carolina Panthers S Mike Minter will appear in studio Wednesday, July 6, through Friday, July 8, on NFL Total Access. He will join Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald, Minnesota Vikings TE Jermaine Wiggins and Philadelphia Eagles LB Dhani Jones for Player's Week on NFL Total Access, where players essentially take over the program participating in roundtable discussions, interviews and previews of the 2005 season.

I watched it last night. He didn't say much that was revealing, other than when he was asked about filling the gap at WR, he stated that Keary Colbert and Drew Carter would need to step up their game. He seemed high on Carter's potential with what he said was 4.3 speed.

Mint did go on record as saying that the Panthers (paraphrasing) will be number one in the NFC South, with Atlanta #2, Saints #3......and the Bucs at #4.

He handled it very well, given the fact that one of the other guys in studio popped the question:

"So, Mike....give us the finishing order in your division in 2005."

It was pretty funny.....and probably accurate.

Actually, I don't think that he even mentioned the Saints by name putting them last. This pissed off some on the Saints board and they're making a big deal of it.

I've wondered if anyone else thought the signing of Freddie Jones was an acknowledgement that the team should have held on to Jermaine Wiggins.

Not heavily talked about, but yeah.
Still sore at Henning for not throwing to the TE, after all these years, and he's the prime example. How a running/playaction team can ignore the TE like that so often, is beyond me.
