Sela Ward was great casting. I'd figure she's going to recur through next season.
Great twist having it supposedly be about her new husband in theory, but almost entirely case history of his own to explain her.

Anyone watching House tonight? This is supposed to be the most controversial episode yet. He has to Dr. his ex's new husband, but he still loves her.

Sela Ward is coming back next year. I can't see the show lasting beyond next year though. How many times can you watch difficult prognosis week after week with the same story of broken heart doctor and intern. I have enjoyed the past 5 weeks but it'll get played out.

yeah, that's the shame of it. I grew to eventually like the storyline with the rich bastard, which at first I felt was unnecessary (takes away from the week's storyline), and then it felt like they just abruptly ended it. Maybe it wasn't appealing to people.

You could figure they were going to find a way to keep her around, and it really is more interesting than the rich bastard plotline, I guess partially because they almost seemed to cast Sela Ward to parallel to the chick doctor. But then it does start getting staged too much - she shows up, you know she's staying. They play on the old relationship, the new one with the chick doctor starts, back and forth, then he does something to piss someone off and the ex has to defend him, probably in court.

Sela Ward is almost always pefect casting. :mushy:

I actually watched an episode a week or two ago. House was covering in a classroom, teaching med students how to diagnose various cases. The test cases were actually real people, including House himself.

It was one of the best single episodes of any show I've ever seen. I'll be watching it again.
