yeah i saw the game pp. braves push across a run in the 10th only to have that dumbass come out and walk the first two batters in the bottom half of the inning, then proceed to throw the ball into left field after a lofton bunt in an attempt to gun down the lead runner, which was a done deal if he had the skills of a t-baller. i cant beleive that they though this guy was gonna be the answer. he's a bum.

Bobby Cox is solidly still behind him.He looked pretty good this weekend with a win and a save. It's still real early.Give him a chance.Who knows....you might be praising him by October.

Kolb picked up his 8th save today for the Braves. He seems to be coming around now. With the starting staff that the Braves have...it would not surprise me if Kolb doesn't wind up with 40-50 saves this season if he stays healthy. He seems to be fitting in with the Braves after a tough 2-3 weeks to start the season.

I have not said this about the Braves in a number of years, but with their starting pitching they have a great chance to make some big noise in the playoffs this year. It's all about starting pitching in the playoffs and the Braves have it.The pickup of Hudson was huge.

If they stay healthy they will be strong come October....and once again I have not said that about the Braves in a very long time.

Kolb will be fine, he has been dealing with alot due to moving to a different team and finally playing for a team whose games actually mean something. He had a couple bad outings, but most of his saves have come where he hasn't even allowed a hit. I think he will settle in and be very productive.

Braves move Kolb out of closers role

San Diego - Braves manager Bobby Cox moved Danny Kolb out of the closer's spot a day after the right-hander was charged with his third blown save and his fourth loss..........

    'bout friggin time.
