    I think what solarte1969 was talking about was the ability to transmit live over a permanent fiber connection like Vvyx. Without Vvyx a broadcaster would have the added expense of a portable satellite uplink.

    Knight's Stadium is not listed as having a fiber point of presence but that does not mean that it is not available. The Charlotte Coliseum used to use microwave to get to the fiber POP at INSP/Mediacomm.

    Maybe they think that since the Knights attendence isn't very good that it would be better for them to show a more popular team more often. If they're trying to build a truly regional network and not just a Charlotte sports network, it probably is a better idea to show more Bulls games.
