Wouldn't mind him here at the right price. Would alleviate a draft need, allowing us more flexibility, especially if Ricky retires.

    Moose was Moose.

Went through three system changes. Went through three coaches.

Was a stud in 1999 and 2000. Sucked, like the rest of the team, in 2001. Did all he could in 2002 and 2003, and showed why he deserved big money in 2004. Not because it was a contract year, but because the whole team was in ashambles and we needed a playmaking leader to step up. The stats in 2004 were simply a bi-product of his effort.

Really, Thelt, you're going nowhere here.

decent receiver, of course. Seems to think too highly of himself, which is different if you're amongst the top 20 in the league consistently, but KJ isn't. When guys directly help cause problems to their careers with their mouths, that's a small red flag. But all receivers are cocky.

Only a couple good years past him, and might only have a few left.
Doesn't seem to get much run after catch, doesn't score much. Only two years on par with an average Moose year, just to give Thelt something to complain about for the next 30-40 posts. Allright hands, speed, just never has done anything exceptionally well. Has returned some punts, so that could be interesting.

Him not starting last year should be a wakeup call to him, but might not be. He could be a good complimentary receiver right now, and a good team will make a reclamation project out of him. You can get allright value out of him for a few mil a year, and if we did that, I wouldn't be terribly upset, though I'd want it for no more than two years - Colbert will beat him out before then anyway.

I heard KJ isn't a very good run blocker, or at least he wasn't in Cleveland. That would make me question whether or not he would fit in here. But he is a good player, productive when he gets an opportunity and/or when he has a QB who can get him the ball.

10:1 our receiving corps doesn't change. That's 5 guys we had last year, back.

still, we lost our best. the neat thing is we can take BPA ... so if it's WR i think you lose your bet. i'm tempted to take those odds.
