Well, needless to say we changed our landscape in Charlotte today. I am curious what position or who we will tackle come draft day. Any ideas?

What is our biggest area of concern now?

If Wahle is playing guard (according to KFFL he will) then I'd say tackle and WR then we need some LB help because I doubt we can keep Fields.

we draft whatever we want. WR? Don't have to, but we can. RB? Kinda hard to place one, and I dunno if one will drop, but sure, we can.

The only thing we won't draft is an over-rated CB like Pac-Man Jones, or a tackle with questions like Brown or Barron.

Thomas Davis - Safety out of Georgia.

Comparable to Roy Williams. Hits really hard but will have to work on his pass coverage. I see Safety as our biggest need overall. Relative to their position who is worse than Branch.

Well we had 6 or 7 big needs, we just took 2 of them off the list, nice damn start either way. This does at least give us some options now.

Yep. Now most of the needs are future needs. Which is what the draft's actually for.

    Collin Branch hater. :satana:

This is the best part. We can take the best player left. It could be a D-lineman. It could be Caddy. If we do really love a Tackle, could be that. And I though I hate the guys after Williams getting the hype, we could go reciever.

And when you don't have a huge need, maybe we can trade down.

Agreed 100%. This also could help us with trading picks in the draft. Other teams below us I am sure had us talking this player or that player, but now that they can't be as sure who we will take.

If they get nervous about us taking a player they want, we may be able to use this as leverage to get them to over trade for value.

What is really that differant? It's been mentioned a thousand times that we would go afer a FA lineman. I don't know if plans to draft a CB were ever discussed.
