Yea, they would probably be leading Conf-USA, with their average rpi of 119. Keep up the good work, your powerhouse conference may hold off a hard charging Mid American in the final tally.

Kudos to VA Tech and Miami. Glad to see them doing well when no one gave them a chance.

Getting in the ACC makes you better. Look at how VT elevated its game when it played Duke last time. It gives them more to play for.

In fairness, although Miami did spend the last two years at or near the bottom of the Big East(which cost Perry Clark his job) they spent the eight years before at least in the middle of the pack and a couple of years towards the top of the Big East standings. It's not like they were the league's doormat year in and year out.

I am suprised at the success they've had this year, but that's more because Frank Heath is in his first year of trying to turn around a program that I thought Perry Clark killed than the fact that they joined the ACC. They'll be a middle of the pack team most years, I think.

I really don't think it will matter....

...but I'm guessing we'd probably like to have that game at VMFUCKINGI back if we manage to win a few more games.

Agreed, but VaTech has been terrible for a long time. They were bottomfeeders in the Big East and they are one of the "Big Four" in the ACC. That's laughable that anyone can say the conference made them better.

Playing top level competition can explain for an upset, maybe, but not for being a top tier team in the league.

sorry turd, the cusa leaders have rpi's in the teens or twentys charlottes rpi is 22. The acc is over rated and overhyped, besides the big 3 its an average at best conference.
