    so Jake Plummer get $5000 for flipping the bird and Moss gets double for "nothing IMHO". he should have grabbed his nut sacks for $10,000

    key words in that article: The NFL has not yet made an announcement and wouldn't confirm the number. If he deserves a fine, it should have been the same as Plummer's bird, unless this was a 2nd or 3rd offense for Moss, but I can't remember him doing any obscene gesture type stuff. IMO, I don't think it deserves a fine or any kind of discipline.

    WR Moss fined for unsportsmanlike conduct


    (Jan. 13, 2005) -- Randy Moss of the Minnesota Vikings has been fined $10,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct following his fourth-quarter touchdown reception in the NFC Wild Card Game against the Green Bay Packers, the NFL announced.

    In addition, NFL Senior Vice President of Football Operations Art Shell spoke to Vikings head coach Mike Tice earlier this week by telephone to make clear the NFL's expectations for player conduct.

    The fine was issued by NFL Director of Game Operations Peter Hadhazy.

    "Your actions were based on poor judgment, did not reflect well on you or the Vikings, and were insulting to many," Hadhazy said in a letter to Moss. "They have resulted in widespread criticism and needlessly detracted from Minnesota's dramatic playoff victory. Fans should look to you and your teammates to see how to compete and win in football. But when you lose your focus on playing and engage in sideshows as you did on Sunday, you forfeit much of this."

    wonder if this will make those pussies at fox shut the fuck up. Bradshaw was asking for like a 1 million dollar fine by the way he talked about it.

    The league should fine him or do whatever they feel is appropriate and that should be the end of it. The more they talk about it the more it encourages him.

    Generaly I don't like most of this kind of stuff, but I chuckled when he did it because of the circumstance.

    I felt Jake Plummers was much more offensive, course I wouldnt pee on him if he were on fire...well I might, but anyway I thought it was unfair and way overblown.

    The difference in Moss getting fined more than Plummer is that Moss is pure scum and Plummer isn't. Moss is not only a disgrace to football but the human race in general. Guys like him are the reason I have begun to hate PRO sports
