    I was not really thinking comedy but if we do include them Shanghai Noon was pretty good.

    for TV fare it was excellent - the only way to have improved on it would be if it was a big screen movie with the language and more intense violence that network TV can't do.

    I don't think violence and language could have added much to it. They did a good job of letting you know what was happening without showing the blood and guts. The scene with the guy getting scalped was pretty graphic I thought at the time.

    I tend to agree with you there - I just think some may not find it gritty enough compared to theatrical westerns or the HBO mini-series who's name escapes me.

    what made LD so good was the interplay between Tommy Lee Jones and Duval - two great characters.
