Wasn't Randolph considering jumping to the NBA after he left HS? Seems I remember reading that before he signed at Duke. Boy, would that have been a short NBA career :roflmao:

That may have been his best chance. If he doesn't step it up, he will be lucky to get on ABA, NBDL.

I don't think Shav would have been drafted out of high school. His stock fell greatly during the allstar games after his junior year. He went from a top 5 recruit his junior year to 30 something his senior year. Remember how the ACC schools were fighting over this turkey? What a joke. He's not worth the powder it would take to blow his brains out. Except for possibly Curtis Hunter, this guy has got to be the biggest bust in the history of NC high school basketball. From day one, this guy was all hype and no ability. I'm sure glad now UNC didn't waste a schollie on this bum.

Hunter 'sbiggest problem is he was the poor unlucky soul that followed Michael Jordan at Carolina - he was the first chump stuck with the label "is he the next Jordan?"

of course that was before people knew there would never be anyone close to another Jordan.
