What we need to do in order to leave Cajun Country with 5 wins.

    1) Force them to play from behind. I think the Saints have been horrible in the first quarter. Its imperative for us to jump on them early. Reduces the role of McAllister (even if it's just a bit) and puts more pressure on Brooks shoulders. He'll make some mistakes for us.

    2) Continue attacking on defense. Saints always are a scary team to play because they have athletic people at the skill positions. We can't let McAllister get on track because it'll let Brooks utilize the play action down the field to the big play receivers.

    3) Our offense should be able to do what they want with these guys. They're really bad on that side of the football. Hopefully we'll get Hoover back and we can establish the run like the last couple of weeks. I'm just wary of getting a 10 point lead sitting on it. The Saints can score fast so we need to score early and score often.

    4) Kasey's back. Certainly should help. Sauerbrun needs to keep the kickoffs in bounds. We can't let them have 25 yard scoring drives.

We can win this game but it always worries me going down to NO. 5-7 would be awfully nice this time tomorrow.

I think that you are right on all points. It would be nice to keep McAllister off of the field as much as possible. Brooks is not inflappable, but he thrives as his offense does. Time of possession is the key to this game, I think.

Hell, just keep them from having big plays and have consistent drives. And play well along the OL - they've got a decent DL. The rest will take care of itself.

Moose's due for a big game, he's traditionally had big games against them

We need to score more than they do.
