Part of the reason Shav's #s were extra turdish yesterday was because he spent half the game on the bench like May did, but yes, May did still score twice as much as him:(

The only thing Shav did right yesterday was dive for lose balls and hit free throws. He played scared all night, and I'm as big a Shav supporter as there is. He looked horrible last night.

how classless are Indiana fans? Thats like UNC fans booing Jordan's son, if he went on to play for Texas, only because we fired Roy Williams when he recruited him the whole entire time. That disrespects Scott May, who led them to a championship, and who was Mr. Indiana basketball. May was going to go to Indiana until they fired his coach. WTF, it isn't Seans fault.

One really bright spot in this game, is the fact of MW getting 12 rbs. If we didn't have him this would have been a game we lost last year because of no depth down low.

UNC looked tired. May had a bad game and its easy to see why. The boy had a TON of pressure on him. National Championship type pressure, but just on one individual. But overall UNC looked dead tired. They didn't fight for rebounds like they have been. I'm hoping Roy gets them some rest or Kentucky will crush them.

Yep aside from a lot of games in a short amount of time, I thinkthe time change is the hardest part of all this that can effect a team for a few days. I know a lot talk about the number of games they play in a short amount of time, but that part I don't really buy into. These are kids they should have enough energy to play 3-5 games a week. I remember football practice 5-6 days a week. Getting home and playing basketball for an hour or two after that in high school.

But the time change, that is one problem with the Maui gig.

I also would like to see Felton, McCants, Williams, Williams and May on the floor for a long series to see how they play. I know this is something we couldn't do on a regular basis, but still would like to see what they could do.

Dean talks about in his book, where he took the boys over seas one year for Serge and a few other forien guys, just to play in their backyard, and how he wouldn't do it again, b/c it took the boys 3 weeks to get back adjusted to the time frame and get the right rest they needed.

I thought Indiana played their best possible game and we played sub-par and still won. The season has games like this. UNC had a tough week last week in terms of games played in a week. They expected to roll in this game and Indi was up for the challenge. Take away the poor officiating and I think the Heels would've won this one by 20.

This weekend is a test - not a moster test because the Cats are down, but a test nonetheless. I still predict the Heels win by 20 at home.

severe case of counting chickens my friend. ease up on this one. i hope you're right, but 20 on Kentucky is a minor miracle from our young team, with felton injured.
