    I think Erickson gets one more year. He guts the team this year to get "his team" on the field. If "his team" doesn't make some noise next year he'll be axed. I don't expect any retirements from that group either at least until like I said... next year. I may be wrong, but I think Vermeil even said next year would be his last.

    I'd love to see Erickson in there another year. Teach them not to fuck with things - they had a 20 year dynasty built and forced out not one, not two, but three good coaches, three good QBs, the best WR ever, and tons of other things that they should have to suffer for many years for.


    But the Browns...hard to say who fits well there. Honestly, gut feeling is Crennel.

    There also are family concerns. Shelley Meyer doesn't want to leave the West again. She knows her husband's contract allows him to leave for Notre Dame, Ohio State or Michigan - no penalty assessed - and she's resigned to the fact most coaching families move often.
