What is the difference between a Sports Bar & a F-A-M-I-L-Y Sports Bar? I keep hearing these ads for Beef O'Brady's Family Sports Bar, but as best as I know none of them are open here in the Charlotte area (yet) . . . .

I mean, can you get drunk in a regular sports bar, but not at Beef  ? ? ? What if there is a hot waitress at Beef you want to get to know better; Would it be OK to hit on her? Is their a mini bar for the kids where they can gun down some apple juice while watching the game (I can see some little 7 year old kid cursing Moose for dropping another pass while watching the Panthers game when he/she screams at the waitress 'Hey Bartender, I need another glass of Apple Juice :D :D !!!!!!'). I guess I will give this place a shot whenever one opens up here :) . . . . . .

I wouldn't really call Beef O'Brady's any kind of sports bar.

The Beef O'Brady's in Fort Mill has a truckload of TV's, but it's more restaurant than bar. We like it.

beef o'bradys isn't a sports bar. it's a place to get burgers and such with beer and tvs that are probably on sports gaems/ half tables are booths. half are tables and there's some video games for kids and a bar for the adults.

we have two in tallahassee. they are usually full.

They have pretty good sandwiches. I had a cuban beef thing there once that was awesome.

I think by the whole "family sports pub" they are trying to make it sound not so much like a bar with the smoke and the yelling and all that (why not?!?). But it is a nice place to take the wife or kids if you want to watch sports and still be spending family time.

BTW, note that they say pub which I guess is less "threatining" than bar. Whatever, can I still get a beer, yes... it's a bar.
